Marcus Knowles joins Outsider MUSIC as Director of Marketing and Sync Licensing...

[08.25.20] We are pleased to announce the addition of Marcus Knowles as Director of Marketing and Sync Licensing at Outsider MUSIC. Reporting directly to Owners and Creative Directors, Marc Aaron Jacobs and Greg Wiktorski, Knowles will oversee all aspects of marketing, advertising, PR, content, and client services for the company, which currently hosts four different labels containing over 4300 hand-crafted tracks and 114 albums.
 

Marcus joins us from his most recent role for independent cable tv networks such as, AXS TV and HDNET MOVIES - where he previously lead the media department from strategy, research, planning and buying across TV, OTT, Digital, Social, Radio, streaming and various emerging media platforms.  Knowles, began his career within advertising working under Omnicom’s award-winning organization Tribal DDB, managing campaigns for brands such as GameStop (Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, Rock Band), Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Amp Energy and American Airlines.  Marcus will continue his current role leading the marketing and sales division for our affiliated premium trailer music library, Tonal Chaos Trailers.

[08.01.20] We're excited to announce the official launch and release of Outsider MUSIC, a new production music library specializing in sync for advertising, film, television and digital media.  Outsider was created by accomplished ad composers, Marc Aaron Jacobs of LA's Tonal Chaos and Greg Wiktorski of Push MP in Rochester NY.   With over 35 combined years of experience in the industry, they set out to create a library with a curated roster of industry heavy-hitters.   

 

Outsider MUSIC's private catalog currently hosts  four different labels containing over 4300 hand-crafted tracks and 114 albums, all covering a wide range of styles and genres.  Although OutsiderMUSIC is new, you have more than likely heard their work on some of your favorite Emmy award-winning TV shows, SuperBowl ads, films, social media campaigns and video games.
